Enjoy an exciting 3 days Samburu Safari, which gives you a chance to visit Samburu National Reserve, which stands as one of the most beautiful Kenya Parks in Northern Circuit.
It holds the most indigenous wildlife such as Grevy’s Zebra, Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Besia Oryx, Endangered Wild Dog and Pun cake Tortoise – Endangered as well as the home of African Elephants.
This tour start and ends in Nairobi and using quality mid range safari lodges or tented camps. The tour includes road transport from Nairobi with up-to four private game drives in the reserve.
Horseback Safaris
Horseback Safaris are only provided by limited operators in the larger Samburu eco system.
Walking Safaris & Nature Hikes
Nature walks can be done in the main Mara reserve though longer treks and walking safaris only happen in conservancies outside the main reserve.
Game Drives
Included in the safari packages, some may want to book specialized night game drives or full day photographer drives.
Our Driver-guide will pick you from your hotel at 8:00 am or the airport, depart for the semi-arid Samburu Game Reserve. Stop briefly at the Equator Crossing point. Arrive Samburu in time for lunch. Relax after lunch and then take an afternoon game drive at 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Return to the lodge by evening.

Full day at Samburu including morning and afternoon game drives. You may just want to relax by the pool or perhaps book an added activity such as a nature walk, cultural visit within the area or a relaxing massage depending on accommodation booked { extra activities at additional cost}.

Enjoy an early morning safari game drive, followed by a relaxed breakfast back at the lodge then an onward departure back to Nairobi by road. Arrive Nairobi by early afternoon [typically by 2.30pm]. Drop off at your hotel or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight home.
